Doctor Missed Woman's Cancer 20 Times

Hey all,

I want to share with you this article that a friend of mine forwarded to me; a story I hear much too often. A woman in England’s ovarian cancer was misdiagnosed even after going to the doctor 20 times. TWENTY TIMES!

Cervical Health Awareness Month

Hi All,

We start off 2009 on the right foot by recognizing January as Cervical Health Awareness Month. And honey, there’s nothing more important than your health! (And as a US Diplomat no less; only in America!)

Diplomat Fran's First Tour of Duty

There I was dressed like a biker chick in my motorcycle boots and leather jacket (my usual flying ensemble) as the paparazzi photographed my 26 year old colleague, Jordan Brown and I, as if he were my “boy-toy,” while we checked our bags at LAX.

This was just the beginning of what was to become an enormous, life-altering trip on a four-country tour of duty through Eastern Europe as a US Special Diplomacy Envoy. (Stop laughing)
