LOS ANGELES (CBS) ― Actress Fran Drescher, who has been on several shows, including "The Nanny," has taken on a new role.
Drescher has founded the Cancer Schmancer Movement and Cancer Schmancer Foundation.
The movement offers a mobile van service through Inner Images, Inc. (the Fran Van Project) that visits Los Angeles neighborhoods and educates women about early cancer detection.
On December 13, a benefit concert will be held at the Million Dollar Theater in Downtown, Los Angeles to benefit Cancer Schmancer Movement and the Fran Van Project.
If you can't attend the concert, there's an option to buy a ticket and the foundation will donate it to a low-income woman and her family or to someone who is presently battling cancer. Click here for more information on the concert.
