SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -
Fran Drescher from CBS's hit series 'The Nanny,' will host the 14th Annual SmartWomen Luncheon and Expo on Wednesday, Sept. 21, at the International Trade and Convention Center.
The luncheon is an annual fundraiser for St. Joseph's/Candler's Mary Telfair Women's Hospital, which includes the mammography fund at Telfair Pavilion that provides mammograms and other breast care services for those who cannot afford them.
Drescher is a 15-year uterine cancer survivor. She received the prestigious NCCS writer's award for Cancer Schmancer.
The SmartWomen Luncheon and Expo has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for the mammography fund.
The Expo will begin at 10 a.m. Lunch will be served at noon, and Drescher will speak at 12:30 p.m. Tickets cost $60 per-person, or $550 for a table of 10.
