Soul Tips -The Many Aspects of Good Health

Within yourself, you hold all the power of the Universe. Bet you never heard that before, right? Well it's true, even if you just received the memo now. You have the capacity to create or destroy, to hurt or heal. Your mind and body are infinitely intricate, amazingly brilliant and highly advanced and it's all up to you what you choose to do with them. You can nurture and nourish your body by feeding it the right foods, exercising regularly and practicing good hygiene. Or, if you choose to, you can destroy your body by eating foods that are dead, processed, artificially flavored, filled with fat and cholesterol and sugar, not getting up off the couch to exercise, smoking, drinking, drugging and so on. It has become so easy to destroy your body in today's world because the bad things are so easily accessible and the sicker you get, the more money big corporations can make on you, with pharmaceuticals and costly treatments. This is how it is... Sad, but true. So it's up to you to take your health into your own hands and start taking care of yourself!

By making the right choices about what you put in your body, you gain more power over your health. But it doesn't stop there. Sickness also can originate in the spirit. If you choose to carry around old hurt feelings, grudges, anger, self-pity, resentment or anything of the like, chances are that you're making yourself sick! Remember; everything is energy, even thoughts and emotions. So if you are clinging to a negative thought or emotion, you are strengthening a negative vibration that will manifest itself physically. What to do, then? Let it go! Forgive! Meditate! Journal! Go for a run! Talk to a friend! Anything, just get rid of it! You are only hurting yourself by holding onto it. Your emotional health plays a big part in your overall well-being!

Know yourself and gain control over your mind by meditating regularly. Meditation promotes stress relief, relaxation and positivity. Meditation allows you to regroup and center yourself. It allows you to delve into your innermost being and uncover the truth about who you are. In taming the mind, you can tame the body as well. Disease and illness thrive in a stressful, negative environment. A daily meditation practice cultivates peace, calm and good health, negating any disharmony in the body and mind. Meditation is simply the best gift that you can give yourself.
