I never go on diets: Bhavna Pani
Dancing keeps actress Bhavna Pani fit. In a candid chat she discloses more about her health regime.
My exercise regime
All my exercise comes from dance. I have done a diploma in contemporary dance, and also I am intensively involved in yoga, nutrition, Pilates and various forms of dance - Jazz, Ballet and Modern Contemporary.
Apart from this I'm also into Indian classical dance forms like Odissi and Kathak. I never go to a gym. I do not like weight training. I prefer doing free hand floor work, using my own body weight and resistance bands.
My fitness regime comprises cardio that I do by dancing for an hour or two daily and body toning- which is taken care of by my alternate days of Pilates and yoga. I swear by this routine. Its not time consuming. It's quick and effective.
My diet
Nutrition plays a vital role when it comes to fitness. I never go on diets. Short cuts always prove to be disastrous. I eat and drink healthy stuff. But the secret is to never leave your stomach empty. I eat small vegetarian meals every 2.5hrs.
