I gotta say...life is good these days! I just hosted a fundraiser for the Cancer Schmancer Foundation last night in New York that raised $40,000! Kudos to our partner, Generation NXT, for making that happen! And if you missed me on CBS The Early Show this morning, then definitely don't miss out on a full hour with me on The Doctors (check your local listings to find out when and where it airs). Here's a little taste!
I'm actually in New York right now, preparing for the 53rd session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women, dedicated exclusively to gender equality and advancement of women. I'll be representing Cancer Schmancer, which is partnering with women, delegates, and organizations from around the world to ensure that men and women become equal partners and share responsibilities when it comes to the health and well-being of their families.
Oh, and now you and I can stay in touch like never before! Get the latest Cancer Schmancer buzz from me on Facebook, Twitter, Myspace and Make the Difference Network and let me know what else we can and should be doing to continue our journey of revolutionizing women's health history.
Stage 1 is the cure!
Be well,
