Kristal Moffett -- Throw Out Your Lead Based Lipsticks Ladies
In the past few weeks I don’t think any of us could miss all the press on lead in lipsticks! Yikes!
The amount of lead differs from brand to brand and from color to color. No amount of lead is considered to be safe in our systems. Small amounts of lead have been linked to health issues.
Lucky for all of is there are some lead-free lipsticks.....I can’t believe I actually have to write those words when referring to a product intended to be put on our lips. One line I discovered is RMS, completely safe, and I mean a 100% completely safe makeup line. They list ALL their ingredients because they don’t use anything they need to hide. I find that so refreshing! The line offers beautiful colors and the makeup is packaged in glass! I love that. They're available in Los Angeles at my absolute favorite beauty stor Evolue Beauty, which carries only non-toxic products. You can also find them online if you're not an Angeleno.
The first thing is to throw away your lead lipsticks and replace them with toxic free ones...the next thing is to demand that they stop poisoning us!
